Xplorer Knit Shoes | Black

As a mom to a little adventurer who needs closed toe shoes even in summer, I love these shoes. My daughter easily puts them on by herself, they are breathable but protect her feet on hikes and walks. They do get pretty smelly when wet, but are easily washed in the washing machine. I recommend wearing socks for long walks as the back of the shoe can start chafing as some point, especially if the shoe gets a bit wet.

I think these are the 4th pair of these shoes we have bought. They hold up so well and I keep buying the next size up as he grows :)

I love the design and quality but they are waaay too large on the ankles. They keep coming off all the time. Unless they have other designs for not chubby feet, I won’t be buying them again.

These are easy for my 4 yr old to take on and off. They sometimes fall off unexpectedly though, which makes him not choose them for school. I am going to try thicker socks to see if that helps keep them on.

The sole feels solid and protective with flexibility at the ball of the foot. It's much more bendy than the average shoe but not as much as most barefoot shoe brands I've tried.

The stretchy fabric makes it easy to pull on fast, which is super helpful with a squirmy toddler.

Overall these shoes are an incredible value: cute as heck, well constructed, foot shaped, and appropriate for most situations.
