Enjoy maximum coverage against the sun’s rays with wide brim that stays up and out of the way. So, you’re free to enjoy the view, wherever you wander. Available in a palette of neutrals and pastels to complement any outfit.

Sun Protection

Our Juniper Hat features a water-repellent DWR finish for the unexpected rain shower or days on the water. Made with fine cotton and polyester twill that is rated 50+ UPF, effectively blocking 98% of UVA/UVB rays. According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, a 50+ UPF sun hat provides excellent protection. Our fabric’s UV protection comes from the weave of the fabric which, unlike solutions or additives, will never fade away.

Design Details

This hat has got some tricks up its sleeve! Feel as great as you look with a hidden velcro size adjuster underneath the sweatband. We don’t want the wind to take your hat away, so we added a chinstrap with an adjustment toggle. This strap is fully removable with secure clips on both sides. Want to wear it without the strap? Simply tuck it away in the built-in pocket.

Just what I was looking for...but would love more patterns

I have previously bought my daughter two Jan & Jul hats (pineapple pattern), and I have always been impressed with their price, durability/construction and fit. I thought I should finally get one for myself so I chose this black one. Let's be honest - it doesn't look as cute on me as it does my daughter. BUT this is exactly what I was looking for and I really appreciate finding an adult hat with a chin strap. I would LOVE if you would offer more adult grown-up patterns. I am thinking like a gingham or check or stripe or leopard. Something timeless and grown up but fun?
