Time will tell regarding its waterproof qualities, but I've ordered from Jan and Jul before, so I'm confident. My daughter is tall and slim for her age (she's 5). I buy her size 5 in tops normally, and the 5T jacket fits her well. The sleeves go past her wrists which is great, but it's hard to know if the sleeves will be long enough for next year as well. I guess I'd say maybe size up if you're planning for your child to wear it two years in a row to be safe. The nice thing about Jan and Jul is that if you are eligible for free shipping, you also get free returns, so if you're not sure, just order two sizes and see what you think. The product shipped on time and looked exactly like the picture, but…During the first wash a button fell off which secured the elastic band around the ankle. After receiving feedback that our fleece-lined pants were challenging for kids to put on by themselves (because their feet were getting caught up in the fleece at the bottom), we decided to work on a solution. We have now improved the design to have our thin liner instead near the ankle. The thin liner helps to prevent any fleece from twisting and stretching out at the bottom – and also helps to prevent the fleece from absorbing water quickly – for example, if a child was standing in deep water. We've had these shoes in multiple sizes and colours over the years. They are still one of our favourite for slip on shoes. Both my kids currently have them and no complaints. 2.5 year old and 4 year old can put them on independently. Can be worn with or without socks. First of all, it doesn't really matter what I think, but my 2.5 year old daughter loves this bag! She packs it in the morning with her bento box and water bottle, and a stuffed animal. She loves wearing it, especially for dropping her her big brother at preschool because she wants to feel included. The only downside is the backpack straps often get twisted and the chest strap is almost too high or something, because it's always close to her neck. Chest strap also always gets twisted. The bag itself is definitely on the smaller size. While I find it is a great fit for her body, it really only fits her lunch box, water bottle and small item of clothing. (although a little short in the sleeves, but I have longer arms) It's more lightweight than I thought it would be and the material much softer than your traditional Gore-Tex raincoat. The color is a bit more muted than the picture shows and there were a few unfinished threads that were left on the hem, but overall I love it! Purchased quite a bit of items at the pop up sale on September 1. Loved the experience; everyone's so helpful. However, I was told I'd receive the items within the week which haven't. There's no way of tracking because there was nothing given such as a receipt of items purchased or shipping information. I tried calling but no one was able to tell me where my products are. As much as I had a great experience at the store, not loving the lack of communication in terms of the products purchased. It is the third rain Jacket I buy for my kids. I like that the hat is deep enough so it doesn’t slide and also the material protects them from getting wet. The only thing I don’t like from my last purchase is that the sleeves are not long enough in comparison to the body size. I had to buy a new one because my son outgrow the sleeves, they were too short. He is 7 years old so I bought a size 8. The body of the jacket is quite long but the sleeves are just at the limit. My kid says these are his most comfortable shoes and we all like that they are easy to put on. This backpack is the perfect size for a kindergarten kiddo! Durable, easy to open and good-sized water bottle holder on the sides of the bag. This product is perfect for our 3 year old. One size does fit all here. Easy, stay on alternative to a scarf. Helps greatly with those drafty gaps between hat and coat collar. This is a sturdy and well-made backpack. It's a nice size for littler kids. The rain cover is a great addition for the west coast. It's not permanently attached to the bag in any way, though, so I'm hoping it won't be misplaced! Love everything about this hat! It provides great coverage and the adjustability is great. Chin strap is easy to adjust and unclip. Great quality material, have been a fan for years with all three of my little ones. Reliable on line purchase, it’s what you need We wanted a pair of shoes that could go from summer to the mixed weather of the shoulder seasons, as well as the misty and damp autumn or spring days. We've had a few rainy days here and have been pleased to see how well the shoes repel water. Even better: our 2.5 year old loves putting these on independently, even more so than all of our other Jan and Jul shoes! I guess they must be comfortable too because they're quickly becoming a favourite.
