The Jan & Jul Boot Family – How to Find the Perfect Boots for Your Little One!
My family loves to play outside no matter the weather. Here in Minnesota, we are lucky enough to get the full-on experience of all four seasons. We get lots of rain and mud during autumn and spring, and freezing temperatures and tons of snow in the winter. Luckily, the Jan & Jul boot family has just what we need to keep my kids’ feet warm and dry in all weather. Read on for how to find the ideal boots for your little explorer!
Puddle-Dry Rain Boots – For Rainy Day Puddle Jumpers
Jan & Jul’s Puddle-Dry Rain Boots are perfect if you’re in a climate with lots of rain and mud! They’re durable, 100% waterproof and made from natural rubber. The comfortable cotton lining and bonus microfleece inserts for colder days makes these rain boots excellent year-round. We’ve found they keep feet warm even in mild winter climates! Pull tabs and handles make getting out the door quick and simple, plus the grippy soles are non-slip for play in wet conditions. The Puddle-Dry Rain Boots are best suited for children with narrow to normal width feet. Let kids be kids and splash to their hearts’ content while feet stay dry!
Toasty-Dry Lite Winter Boots – For Snow, Slush and Rain
These have been my 3-year-old’s favorite snow boots for playing in Minnesota’s freezing winters! They’re 100% waterproof, super lightweight and insulated. The Sherpa fleece lining is snuggly soft, so little toes stay warm while playing in snow or slush. These also make the perfect cozy rain boot for our chilly rainy seasons. We are very conscious about foot heath, and love that the soles are zero-drop, grippy and flexible to move with developing feet. I’d recommend these for all foot widths. My kid loves putting these boots on independently with the finger holes, but the best feature for me is that they are machine washable!
Toasty-Dry Puffy Winter Boots – Snow-Proof Sporty Design
The newest addition to the Jan & Jul boot family, best for climates with dry, snowy winters! Forget clunky, heavy winter boots that just slow kids down. These are water-resistant and snow-proof, insulated and rated for -20C / -4F. Don’t be fooled by how lightweight they are – these boots feature deep tread lugs for the best traction in snow and slush! Also lined with Sherpa fleece, kids’ feet stay cozy and warm while looking trendy in this sporty design. The Velcro closures on both sides make them easy to get on chubby toddler feet and stay secure. Made with breathable and soil-repellent fabric that’s easy to clean.
Toasty-Dry Booties – Casual Style for Barefoot Shoe Enthusiasts
The ultimate barefoot style bootie for 3-season wear. We love them for everything from playing in snow or mud, trips around town, and camping or hiking in the woods! Jan & Jul’s Toasty-Dry Booties keep kids warm in the cold weather while supporting healthy foot development. Ideal for all foot widths (but especially wide feet!) the wide toe box allows room for toes to properly splay out while running, jumping and climbing. The soles are zero-drop, super flexible and made from slip resistant rubber that bends and moves with a child’s foot – even includes a toe cap for extra protection. With an adjustable Velcro closure, these boots stay secure and are easy to get on baby and toddler feet. The Toasty-Dry Booties are water resistant, insulated, and lined with cozy Sherpa fleece. As the parent of a child with wide feet, these are another favorite in our household!
With cold weather just around the corner, I hope this quick rundown of the Jan & Jul Boot Family was helpful! Whether you’re looking for snow boots for deep winter, or a casual bootie to wear around town, there’s really something for every climate and activity. Happy Fall and all the best for a great start to the school year!
